- What is the goal of the IC cashless system?
Eliminate the use of cash in the Camp, improving service operations, reduce the cost of cash management (ATM fees, security, etc.), and follow hygiene recommendations about limiting cash handling.
- Where to get my bracelet? What sizes are available?
At the Frontdesk. Three sizes are available, please choose the one that fits better. We are also supplying -upon request- cards that can also be used in addition to bracelets, you may have linked to the same account both a bracelet and a card. The bracelets are waterproof and you can wear it while showering or swimming.
- How to top-up my bracelet?
At the IC Reception, using card or cash.
Online, processed through stripe. Please log-in to Resident Portal at http://www.icsomalia.com
- How to get my account statement?
At every sale transaction, you will get a printed copy of your current balance.
In case you need a full account statement, you may request it online and get it to your email; or get a printed copy of the statement at the IC reception, and copy of ticket sales you may need.
- May I cash out from the bracelet account?
Only in case you are checking out and leaving the IC, you will get back your outstanding balance at reception. The IC will then cancel your account with zero balance.
- May I transfer funds from one account to another?
Only in case of bracelet loss, as long as you can identify yourself as the owner of the lost bracelet, your outstanding balance will then be transferred to a new bracelet.
- I lost my bracelet. How to proceed?
Please report the IC Frontdesk ASAP. Once your bracelet is identified, your outstanding balance will transfer to your new bracelet. In the case of anonymous accounts, we are not able to transfer any balance to another bracelet.
- How can I tip waiters?
The cashless system is not designed to accept tips. If you wish to tip our servers, you may do so only with cash. You may obtain change at the Frontdesk during front desk open hours.
